What will they day look like?
Our typical day of fishing begins at 4:00 AM which is when we arrive at the boat. We have you arrive just before 5:00 AM and will board shortly thereafter and depart between 5:00 AM and 5:30 AM. We typically run 30-40 miles offshore. This varies often. In the course of a year, we will fish up and down the drop-off of the continental slope between Hatteras and the NC/VA border. We typically fish until 2:30 PM and return to the dock around 4:30 PM.
What type of fish might we catch?
- Mahi Mahi
- White Marlin
- Blue Marlin
- Sailfish
- Wahoo
- Yellow Fin Tuna
- Blue Fin Tuna
- Black Fin Tuna
- Big Eye Tuna
What to bring
To make the most of your off-shore fishing adventure, be sure to pack:
-
Food & Drinks – Bring enough to keep you fueled and hydrated throughout the day.
-
Sunscreen – The sun can be strong out on the water, even early in the morning.
-
Weather-Appropriate Clothing – Layers are key! Mornings can be cool, and afternoons warm up quickly.
-
Cooler Space – You’ll want room to take home your fresh catch!
-
Tip for the First Mate – A 15–20% tip is customary and greatly appreciated.
We usually reel in more than enough fish to go around, and one thing’s for sure—you’re in for a fun, memorable day on the water. It’s not often we come back empty-handed!
Cancellation Policy

Thank you for your understanding—we look forward to getting you out on the water!
